Faith (Dooley) Radermacher became the sixth head coach in Cobber volleyball history when she was hired in the spring of 2019.  

Radermacher was a standout for the Fighting Hawks for four seasons and helped UND earn a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances. She was named the Big Sky Tournament Most Valuable Player in her junior and senior seasons and became the first-ever UND player to earn all-conference honors in four seasons.

Radermacher is the school’s all-time career record holder for blocks and also owns the Big Sky record for blocks in a career.

During her time at the University of North Dakota, Radermacher worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach where she was responsible for nutrition guidance and training, providing injured athletes with supplemental work during rehabilitation and meeting with incoming student/athlete recruits about the strength and conditioning program.

Radermacher has also served as a head coach in the Grand Forks Stars Volleyball Club and was on the Board of Directors with the Hawkademy Leadership Program at UND.  

In addition to her playing career for the UND volleyball team where she was a 3-year captain, Radermacher also played for the Fighting Hawks basketball team in her junior and senior seasons and was named the team captain as a senior.

Radermacher was one of the top high school student/athletes in the state of North Dakota. She earned 12 varsity letters in three sports at Central Cass High School. She helped Central Cass win the state championship in volleyball and was a 3-time All-Region honoree. Radermacher was also an all-conference, all-region and all-state selection in basketball and qualified for state meet in track and field in the high jump high jump all four years - finishing second as a senior.     

Radermacher she graduated with her masters in Exercise Physiology. Her thesis, “A Systematic Analysis of Temporal Trends in the Handgrip Strength of 2,216,320 Children and Adolescents Between 1967 and 2017,” is published in Sports Medicine, a top-ranking journal.

Radermacher is also the head of the Concordia athletic department leadership program, “Seeds of Leadership” and is an assistant strength and conditioning coach in the department.

She lives in North Dakota with her husband Ross. 


Assistant Coach PhotoChris Hahn  |  Assistant Coach

Chris Hahn returned to Concordia as the full-time assistant for the Cobber volleyball after serving as a volunteer assistant in 2019.

Hahn brings a wealth of volleyball coaching experience to the program. He was the head coach at Central Cass (N.D.) from 2013-15 and then returned to the program as a volleyball consultant after spending 2019 with the Cobbers.

Before his time at Central Cass, Hahn was the Director of Volleyball Operations at North Dakota State University from 2014-16 after serving as a volunteer assistant coach from 2007-10.

Hahn has also been heavily involved in club volleyball. He served as a coach in the Park Christian Volleyball Club from 2017-19, as well as founding the Summit Junior Volleyball Club in 2013 and serving as the director of the program for two years.     

Hahn began his volleyball coaching journey in Colorado where he was the head coach of Greeley West High School from 1995-99. He then moved on to become Colorado State men’s club team from 2001-02 as well as the head coach at Highland High School from 2001-03.

Hahn graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Elementary Education.

Cober volleyball fans will recognize the newest member of the coaching staff. Madison (Schoephoerster) Haman played for the Cobbers in 2016. Since then, she has gone on to become the Director of the Barnesville Aces JO volleyball program. 

Madison's duties for the Cobbers include working with the reserve team and also handling all of the squad's social media content.
